It’s finally here - ABC’s free episodes of “Lost,” “Desperate Housewives,” “Commander In Chief” and “ALIAS” Are online and available for viewing. The quality isn’t bad at all, and the commercials aren’t all that obnoxious, though they did manage to carry over the annoying tendency to make the commercials noticably louder than the show itself. The streaming runs smoothly, with the only noticable hiccups happening when I was receiving IMs or surfing in other browser windows, and whatever video format ABC decided to go with works seamlessly in Safari, so the majority of people viewing wouldn’t have much of a problem, I imagine.

All in all, a pretty decent opening salvo by ABC. Now, let’s get some movies online too, and make things downloadable, and we’ll have something really worth getting excited about.
