Save Those Fan Films To Your Hard Drive

If you’re a fan of the fan films and other various and sundry videos found all around the interweb, then this may be of interest to you. KeepVid is a site where you enter a URL into a field, click the buttton and it extracts and saves whatever video is embedded into the URL you’ve provided. It’s not as seamless as some of the Firefox plugins out there, but it seems to support a broader range of vieo types, including whatever they use to embed movies on YouTube. It won’t increase the resolution or anything, but you’ll be able to compile your own archive of webcrack to reminsce about with your friends and family 20 years from now.

Wow. Cool.
Steve I haven’t visited the site in a while because it makes my computer wonky. Still does.
