Halle Berry’s Turn To Promote X3

This morning, Halle Berry braved a broken toe to appear on The Today Show for an interview with Matt Laurer in order to further advance her career by promoting X3. Among the gems she dropped was the fact that she’s totally, totally into playing Storm and would do it again. Also, she fought for Storm to have a tougher persona in this film, because it’s what the hardcore fans deserve.
Honestly, Berry comes off fairly well in the interview. She seem sincere in her newfound appreciation for the character she’s portrayed in the last 2 movies, and seems to have lost the self-serious smugness that permeated her interviews during the first movie’s press junket. I almost feel bad that they decided to use Catwoman footage to promo her appearance at the beginning of the clip.

I love Halle Berry. Can’t believe Dave Justice used to beat the crap out of her. BTW - is Justice still playing? He could hit the longball, but was slow on defence and beating his wife sorta made me hate him.

Justice is now a (so-so) commentator for…ESPN, I think? Al Leiter’s been doing some play-by-play for the YES network — he’s doing really good so far, I think.

Keith Hernandez is the best color-commentary man since Dennis Miller on MNF.

Hi, Halle. I’m sorry to hear about your toe. And girl you’ve got to quit being such a klutz, Ok.
And Halle, you don’t need to go running home tripping over your own feet to see if your man is cheating on you either, I’m sure he love’s you with all of his heart. I really feel bad baby, but you get well soon, do you understand me.
