have been to see too many family therapists lately, with all this psycho bable. The people at Fox have no imaginations. Saying things like you couldn’t take the story to outer space. Or, the X-Men films are grounded in reality. Hello?…Aren’t they mutants with special powers as adapted from a fucking comic book? Grounded in Reality? From the studio that brought us “Star Wars”? Are these people on crack?
The grounding of a film and its story is found in the execution of the production and in the character development as well as the dialogue. I mean, what stopped audiences from going to see “Lord of The fucking Rings”…a film that was based on fantasy…Or “Harry Potter”? Answer, nothing!!!…Why? Because people were made to believe in the fantasy elements. A fact lost on jaded studio brass at Fox!!!
I was writing a version of a script for X-3 hoping I could submit it as a spec script. I stopped writing the damn thing when I learned they already had a writer on it… and were planning to fast track it to the movie screen–but I swear…my treatment kicked serious ass on the official studio take on X-3!!!

I think the entire thing was a waste of money. The movie Will Be good No doubt but the amout of chages that have been made to the entire storyline is awful. It will be hard to detrmine whether they are mixing the storylines of both the Ultimate Universe and the original series. Movies Based apon Comics and even books have never been up to the standards of the frequent readers. I myself am an X-Men fan and I am sorry to say that The entire seris,although good, Doesn’t follow much to the storyline and is giving people that don’t read the comics and/or (did) watch the cartoon a false storyline that the entire viewing populus will accept and side with. To have any basis for fighting the writers you have to know your stuff. There has been so much speculation as to the popularity of a series that does so good at the begining, If it starts out good then the followers will be bad, if it is an ok movie at the start then it can only get better, I think that both are right and wrong. I mean we as fans have to be pretty naive if we expect the movies to go exactly to the storyline, We know better. It is a problem to all writers for films such as X-Men, Hulk, Fantastic Four, The Punisher, and who could forget Spider-Man.
As for Carson,he is an idiot who doesn’t know what the heck he’s talking about. Sure he has his own T.V. show but he has absolutly NO right to hammer those that watch comic book movies, read comic books, and criticize as fans. I think he is just trying to hide the fact that he is a fan as well(no doubts that he will be at the opening night to see the film).
