Some People Just Don’t Get LOST

This is quite possibly the worst criticism I’ve ever read of anything ever. You can dislike the show on it’s own merits, but not on the fact that it’s NOT another show. Inane beyond belief.

Lost does not pose these questions. These people aren’t struggling within themselves in a death battle for their moral souls — hells no, theirs is a struggle with the freakin’ Hanso Foundation. What the frak? Talking smoke, people? Come on! This is lazy, shock-driven, adrenaline-addicted, we’re-May-sweeps-bitch writing. Medical experiments; half-baked religious undertones; have-unmarried-sex-and-you-die; look, Locke can walk! It’s too stupid to bear. And you know what? It’s boring, too.

Yeah, I’m not a die-hard LOST fan, but I don’t get this dude’s argument. TV isn’t an art form? Huh? It’s pretty obvious that there are plenty of examples why that isn’t true.

I don’t get why becuase it doesnt examine the whole “robinson curose” thing which has been explored in tons of different movies/tv shows suddenly Lost is crap TV. As for attacking the religious undertones, why not attack religious OVERtones of crap all over the tv
