Dismayed with the look of Michael Chiklis’ million dollar Thing outfit in the Fantastic Four flick, one fan took it upon himself to create a Thing outfit (based on the Ultimate version in order to keep the weight down, I assume) out of actual rock. The project gave him a reason to stay in his basement domicile even more than usual, as you’ll see by the photographs documenting his momentous journey towards internerd stardom. The final piece weighed over a hundred pounds and won him a few awards at a recent comic-con.
