While not the greatest animated adaptation I’ve ever seen, Marvel’s first Ultimate Avengers direct to DVD movie was an enjoyable enough piece of entertainment. Neither Ultimates nor Avengers, but rather some weird hybrid of the two, the movie managed to move quickly enough to let you ignore the…less good…aspects and focus on the action. I expect more of the same from the sequel, with this one continuing the whole aliens as nazis subplot, while introducing the Black Panther to the cartoon audience.

IGN has the first look at the trailer for UA2 as part of their annoying online show. Luckily, it’s the first thing featured, so all you have to do is skip the annoying “look at how wild and fun our offices are” bit to you get the good stuff.
