My Little Pony: The Musical

My faith in humanity continues to erode away slowly, inexorably. Hasbro’s announced that they’re currently working with someone foolish enough to develop a My Little Pony musical. OK, foolish may not be the right word since Ice Capades and Disney On Ice have been doing this for decades, but there’s still something just not right about this sort of thing.
Disclaimer - I’m sure my dismay is compounded by the fact that I know my daughter will be dragging me to this sort of insipidness in a few years’ time.
Toy maker Hasbro Inc on Monday announced a partnership with VEE Corp. to produce a 90-minute musical that will be called My Little Pony Live “The World’s Biggest Tea Party.” The stage tour, which will feature dancing and singing, will kick off in October.
The My Little Pony stage show comes after No. 1 U.S. toy maker Mattel Inc. brought its iconic Barbie doll to the stage this year. Barbie made her debut in “Barbie Live in Fairytopia,” on April 1, and the Barbie tour will visit roughly 80 cities across North America over the next two years.

My only question is: Where does a brother buy tickets?

Wow, they should really try to sell these things harder to girls. “Fairytopia” and “World’s Biggest Tea Party” are a little masculine don’t you think?

All the girls would go to the “World’s Biggest Tae Party.” It would be held in the tent.
The tent I’m pitching right now.
Sexual innuendo…

I heard VEE is developing a new musical now: “Rainbows and Unicorns in the Land of Puppies and Kittens and Bunnies With the Princess in a Frilly Pink Dress.”
