KFR is proud to bring you the first of four Superman-themed comedy sketches by comedian/The Daily Show Associate Producer/Metro columnist/creator and host of the semi-scripted NYC comedy-talk show, The Primetime Kalan: the one and only Elliott Kalan.

As Elliott told KFR, “The story behind the whole thing is that the staff of The Primetime Kalan was excited about the upcoming release of Superman Returns, but knew it probably wouldn’t contain the scenes we REALLY wanted to see. Namely, scenes of Superman handling foes he doesn’t normally deal with. Plus, we spent like $50 on a Superman costume, so we wanted to use it as much as possible. So for the June 2006 episode of Primetime we put together four “Superman Vs.” shorts, each written by a different staff member. Plus, almost all of us spent some time in the Superman costume, for maximum disgusting sweatiness.”

KFR will be posting one Superman video a day for the next four days, in all their sweaty-Superman-costume-sharing glory. First up: Superman vs. Humanities Professor, written by Dan McCoy, and starring Dan McCoy (Superman) and Elliott Kalan (Professor). Enjoy!
