CCI Costumes

Ah, the fan costume. A staple of every comic-con, big or small, with the SDCC being the the grandpappy of them all. This summer’s was no exception, with costumed fanboys and girls running all through downtown San Diego. We were only there for a day and a half, but I’ve had my fill until next year. These were some of my favorites.
Teen Titans Go! Starfire had a little too much caffeine at this point and just couldn’t quite hold still.

No idea if this Wonder Woman was a paid booth babe or not, but she was the most popular feature in Mattel’s area.
American Maid and the Little Wooden Boy

Got to hand it to this guy - his Cupid costume took some balls to wear, and he was having a hell of a good time.

Absolutely killer Hawkgirl costume. I’m pretty sure this was a mother/daughter combo.

This jawa was a little tall, but the dude had the walk down pat. Cracked me up!

Who ever heard of a Tie Fighter Pilot with a lightsaber? A pink lightsaber, no less.

Klingons and pirates were both popular this summer, but Captain Jack’s got the larger posse.

Reed Richards, complete with extendable arms!

Not sure what this dude’s deal was, but the costume was badass, complete with voice machine effects.

I love the Dark Helmet — reminds me how much I like Rick Moranis. Whatever happened to him?

Rick Moranis is secretly the best part of Ghostbusters.

Hey, I was American Maid. Most fun costume I’ve done. The little Wooden Boy was actually signed on the back by all the animators, writers, creator and the guy who did the Ticks voice. One year I need to find the guy in the tick costume! Thanks for posting it.
