Singer: “Superman Returns” Was Marketed Poorly

Well, this is interesting. With Superman Returns struggling to hit the $200 million mark, Bryan Singer is now telling the press that the reason the film isn’t the blockbuster Warners expected is due to the studio’s bad marketing. I’m not really gonna argue too much with that one considering it was the commercials and trailers that turned me off to the flick in the first place, but there’s still something unseemly about a dude that’s set to recieve somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 million bucks for the thing to be badmouthing others. Then again, remember this promotional standee?

Maybe Singer’s got every right to bitch after all.

He should market his name better.

I think his name is suitably queerific.
