Hellboy Resurrected At Universal

Rock on, Universal! I may be in the minority here, but I’m a big fan of the first Hellboy movie. Sure, the plot is overly ridiculous and the ending is abrupt, to say the least, but the character moments are badass, especially when you consider the amount of special effects and makeup that Perlman and crew had to work with. Either way, Variety’s reporting today that Universal is officially on board to produce and distribute the sequel. Expect it sometime in aught-eight.

You weren’t the only one who liked Hellboy! Perlman is the man!

Hellboy ruled. That the plot is overly ridiculous is precisely the point. I’m looking forward to this.

The Hellboy movie scratched the good old days Buffy scratch for me quite nicely, although SMG probably looks better in a camisole.
