If this isn’t the oddest grouping of video game creators ever to exist, I don’t know what is. The Red Sox ace, fantasy writer and toy manufacturer/comic book artist are teaming up to bring you Green Monster Games. No word yet on what sort of video games they’ll be producing, and they look like they still need to flesh the company out beyond the three of them, but it’ll be interesting to see what they come up with. There’s certainly no shortage of cash to be thrown around, but unless the end result is the greatest baseball game between elves, gnomes, dragons and hell demons, I’m not gonna be satisfied.
