Wow - talk about circular. Rosario Dawson’s gone from cactress to comic book creator to starring in the movie adaptaton of her comic. If this ends up making any sort of money, I predict more and more up and coming stars will announce their own series in the near future, featuring lead characters that look suspiciously like the stars themselves. In addition to acting in the movie, Dawson’ll be co-producing it with the series’ co-creators, David Atchison and Tony Shasteen. Not a bad scam, really.
