Man, the Zune is trying waaaaay too hard to be “hip” with their marketing campaign and graphics. First there was the woman orgasming graphic used with the error message, then there’s the whole “get social” nonsense that people are already parodying. Last night my wife came across this gem in a magazine. I’m trying to enjoy my TV time when I hear “Do you know what this Zune thing is? This is the stupidest ad I’ve ever seen.” I took a look and, well, she may be right.
Here it is – an insert from Spin with directions on how to use the heat transfer to make 2 t-shirts: one for you, one for your friend. Of course, I can’t think of anyone who would actually wear this thing, much less want to/be able to convince a friend to wear the other half of a broken heart design. I just….don’t get it.
