As most of you now know, the great Dave Cockrum passed away on November 26. The also-great Erik Larsen has written a very thoughtful essay at Comic Book Resources on Mr. Cockrum, discussing his contributions to comics, and like most of the medium’s pioneers, his struggles to be properly compensated for all that he created. It’s definitely worth reading.
