The epic confrontation between hyper-sensitive comic fans and taking-the-bait Daniel Way continues. After Way personally emailed a fan who openly insulted the writer on his website’s message boards, said fan then posted said email — and a string of others that followed — to Newsarama. Now “fans” are starting random ironic anti-Way threads, such as “Daniel Way poured sugar in my gas tank.” I’d say the Wolverine Nerds take round 2, and it’s starting to look like John Byrne and Greg Land have some competition for “Most Hated Creator.”
