When I was a kid, I went to computer camp one summer, swim camp twice and regular old camp 3-4 times. Now, the reality is that this was all the same campground - Shikellimy 4 Life! - but they offered different themed activities for us campers. As awesome as my memories of these times are, I’d have gladly skipped the wack computer camp summer for one week at comic book camp, even if it’s really just some afternoon classes at the local library.

Children will learn how to pencil, ink and colour their own comic book panel, draw original comic book characters, learn the basics of drawing people and animals, facial expressions and body poses.

A group comic book will be created at the end of the program, incorporating the children’s drawings.
