Wanted: Comic Book Jobs
Author: Stephen Gerding

It seems lately that there’s a new comic book site popping up just about every other day. The latest could be a boon to you if you’re an aspiring pro, someone who’s already a pro who could use more work, or someone who needs a comic book professional to work for you.. Since it seems mandatory to compare new sites to pre-existing ones, I suppose you could call it a Monster.com for comic book people. There’s not a whole lot of opportunities posted yet, but there’s some serious potential here. I know that there are message boards that have been around forever that provide a similar feature, but there’s something to be said for stripping away the intimidation factor that can come into play when a person who’s got no history on a forum is interested in talking to a longtime forum regular about a potential gig.

QEW Publishing is currently commissioned as a rep for Space Goat Productions, which manages its own cadre of contracted comic book artists. A number of them are available for taking on projects right now, but time is of the essence. if any studio or anyone is interested, please feel free to follow up with me.
