Yes! Sega Announces “Streets of Rage,” 4 Others for Wii’s Virtual Console

The long awaited rerelease of the Sega Genesis classic Streets of Rage is finally on its way to Nintendo Wii’s Virtual Console download service, reports Gaming-Age. Also coming are Bio-Hazard Battle, Gain Ground, Comix Zone and Bonanza Bros. Each game will cost 800 Wii points (i.e. $8.00) and be available later this month.

I know, it’s weird. But hey, Sega has tons of games no one bought just sitting around, so they figure they’ll put them out and make some $ off people willing to buy them.

Comix Zone is pretty sweet, too. It’s got an “X” and “Z” in the name, a dude with sunglasses, and it’s from the early 90s, so you know it has to be extreme.
