The Weinstein Company’s stellar Dragon Dynasty DVD series will expand its catalog next week with the release of three action-packed Hong Kong classics: Infernal Affairs 2, Infernal Affairs 3, and Police Story 2.

The Dragon Dynasty series is doing a respectable job so far of being a kind of Criterion Collection for fans of Asian cult cinema. These DVDs have great sound, great picture, and great extras. So, you won’t be disappointed.

Police Story 2
Jackie Chan stars and directs this hyper, action-packed spaz out from his late-80s/early-90s creative peak. Chan plays a cop demoted to traffic officer who must protect himself and his main squeeze (Maggie Cheung) from a mob boss out for revenge. Death-defying stuntery ensues.

Infernal Affairs 2
The critically lauded prequel to the film that directly inspired Martin Scorcese’s acclaimed The Departed once again follows the zany misadventures of an undercover cop and a drug gang mole who’s infiltrated the Hong Kong police force.
