Scud: The Disposable Assassin, one of the great indie comics of the ’90s, ended prematurely with issue #20 when creator Rob Schrab left the land of comics for Hollywood (Schrab has since written the screenplay for Monster House and is currently directing The Sarah Silverman Show). Schrab recently announced, however, that he is now working on the long lost issue #21 to finish Scud, as well as a one-volume edition of the entire series.

Schrab is chronicling the creation of issue #21 with video blogs over at robschrab.com.

For those not in the know, Scud is a sci-fi/action/comedy about a robot assassin and his insane adventures. The trades have long been out of print and fans have been clamoring for issue #21 for a long, long time, so this is great news indeed.
