It’s a sad state of affairs when the remixed dialogue for Civil War wriitten by some random guy posting it on his LiveJournal account is actually a marked improvement to the actual text Mark Millar provided for the series. Not to slight the Mighty God King at all - the remixed issues are genuinely some of the unniest things I’ve seen in years, and Marvel would do well to pay him a few sheckles and release the rewritten series as a parody collection.
Well, DC’s got a shot at getting a genuinely talented and extremely eager newcomer with a built in fanbase on their payroll - MGK spent all of last month listing 30 reasons why he should succeed Mark Waid as the writer on Legion of Super-Heroes, and it’s hard to argue with any of them, though I see the Batman as a vampire idea being more than just a single issue story…

Yes, I know that particular bit of quantum theory doesn’t work quite like that, but to continue in the vein of Paranoia, the good thing about non-hard science fiction is that you can take scientific concepts and warp them until they are awesome things that blow up however you like.
Oh, and to be clear: they’re a criminal gang, not an army. But “Schrödinger’s Army” sounds cooler than “Schrödinger’s Gang.”
