The swell folks at Film Junk are correct in pointing out that if Transformers is as hugeical as it’s looking, there could be a parade of 80s toy/cartoon properties making their way to the big screen — much like the crappy nostalgia gold rush that plagued comic books 5-6 years ago.

Anyhoo, the aforementioned Film Junk has a new rumor about a possible GI Joe movie — a movie starring Donnie Wahlberg’s little brother that doesn’t feature Cobra.

“Cool Dude” sounds like a rumor spread by these guys.

You can expect more of these kinds of shenanigans in the forseeable future until an actual Joe movie is released.
