Just a quick note to let people know that the best show to ever hit television, aka “The Wire,” is currently on sale for 22 bucks at Costco. If you don’t have a membership, borrow your friend’s and treat yourself! If that’s still no good, Amazon’s got it for a mere $28 right now, with their standard free shipping, so you can click on the image over there to the right and grab a copy that way.
EDIT: Freaking amazon and their changing prices. It’s just under $50 now, still well worth it. I’m sure it’ll fluctuate more and more as time passes this post by.

It is certainly a good show. No question. I must say though, the way you over inflate it’s value puts it on a level no show could ever reach. You are doing the show a disservice. It sets up unrealistic expectation that this show, nor any other show, can live up to.
I do the same thing with the movie Old Boy.
