The Robot Chicken Star Wars special was heavily promoted with a massive online campaign the last week or two, and apparently the work and ads paid off with some decent ratings. I didn’t catch it on TV, but I did watch Adult Swim’s streaming webcast of it which was, now that I think about it, oddly ads free. I wonder how many other people opted to watch it online at their leisure rather than on TV?

Adult Swim’s debut of the half-hour Robot Chicken Star Wars over four telecasts Sunday night (10p, 11p, 12a and 1a) drew in 711,000 A18-34 viewers and 426,000 A18-24 viewers. The special also scored 481,000 M18-34 viewers and 299,000 M18-24 viewers.
