While Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga has already been announced for Wii, it’s the long-rumored lightsaber game that fans really want. Nothing official has been announced yet (though that might happen at this year’s E3), but according to MyWii, something’s in the works:

Jim Ward of LucasArts…made some quite revealing statements in an interview with N’Gai Croal of Newsweek, when asked about the topic. Ward mentioned that the company already has internal prototypes running using the Wiimote. He added that there are fun and exciting stuff coming out for the Wii “this fall”…

So file this one in the “Let’s Pray It’s True” folder. But with the Wii generally kicking butt, LucasArts would be crazy not to make something like this:
