“Ghostbusters III” Actually Happening…But Not Like You Expect

In admittedly slightly old news that I hadn’t read until today, Dan Aykroyd confirmed in an April radio interview with CISN Country 103.9 in Edmonton that Ghostbusters III is back on…but there’s a twist.
The film will actually be CGI animated, as Bill Murray refuses to do another live-action Ghostbusters. However, Murray has agreed to provide his voice for the CGI version, says Aykroyd, so it looks like a new Ghostbusters flick with the entire original cast is on.

I’m glad that Bill Murray has agreed to voice his role to do Ghostbusters 3 in CGI! I like liveaction too but hey if it’s the only way to get a GB3 that’s fine with me and I know that the same cast will voice there roles for the 3rd GB film in CGI!Can’t wait to head to the Theater to see Ghostbusters 3 in CGI!

Hey Patrick, sorry to burst your bubble (a little), but it looks like the “Ghostbusters 3″ project is now “Ghostbusters: The Video Game.” It takes place after Ghostbusters 2, is being written by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis, and will feature the voices of the entire original cast (except Sigourney Weaver):

Patrick,
Here’s the latest, straight from Dan Aykroyd:
“In effect, really, it’s [the game] the third movie. I’m a fan of the franchise. As an objective viewer I miss the third movie. So this video game will maybe pave the way or at least stimulate interest from the studio again in maybe making the third movie.”

The GBvideo game is seprate form the 3rd GB film. I saw a sneek peek on the web and it shows nothing for GB3. It shows the first orignal GB logo and pictures from the film for the videogame it doesn’t show the 3rd Gb logo! Thats why it is seprate from the film don’t belive me go to the Gb Messageboard and it will show you the Orignal GB film with the orignal photos aka videogame! Screw what the other people say there stupid!
