Say what you will about the actual ingredients the Kwik-E-Mart uses in their products, but the presentation factor is fantastic. Here’s a random donut my wife bought for me last night, taken from the donut container where it was stacked along with a dozen others, and the thing is still in fantastic shape. The sprinkles are reasonably evenly scattered, the donut’s acceptably round and the perfectly pink frosting is virtually unblemished. If the Q-E-M can manage to ship and serve their freaking donuts in such a beautiful state, why can’t McDonalds manage to serve me a Big Mac that’s not sliding to the side like a drunk monkey made it?
