Regular KFR reader know we rarely run straight press releases, but when Todd McFarlane’s going to be out in public, signing stuff, it’s kinda sorta something we think some of you might be interested in. WHO: Creator and Executive Producer of the 10th Anniversary Signature Edition of Todd McFarlane’s Spawn: The Animated Collection.

WHAT: Creator Todd McFarlane will be on hand to meet and greet San Diego Comic-Con visitors, sign copies of original, limited edition, Spawn lithographs as well as participate in photo opportunities. Media Interviews will also be welcome. The drawing for line tickets will begin at 11am.

From the mind of comic book genius Todd McFarlane, Spawn is the longest-running independent comic book title of the past 15 years. In celebration of the animated series premiere on HBO, this 18-episode 10th anniversary collection has been digitally re-mastered with color enhancement and Dolby Digital 5.1 Audio. The DVD set includes complete episode storyboards, interview with Todd McFarlane, behind-the-scenes featurettes, audio commentaries and character profiles together with biographies, costumes, poses and expressions. Winner of two Emmy® Awards for Outstanding Achievements in Animation, Todd McFarlane’s Spawn: The Animated Collection is sure to be a great addition to anyone’s digital library.
