no!!! re5 is not racist!!
1) because how come in grandtheft auto san andress a BLACK GUY!! is shooting mexicans and whites!! and that is not racist?
2) no spaniards complained at RE4!!
3) a game is a game! you havent even heard the full story yet so stop acting like a little girl
4) (the funny bit) location is in africa! are you saying that there should be asian zombies in africa? thats just more racist excluding black zombies

Generally, these are all good points and I honestly tend to agree with you (although GTA is well-executed satire, that’s why it’s free from a lot of this type of criticism).
But the thing is any time you see a heroic white dude mowing down underpriveleged black people it’s going to raise eyebrows.

It is possible that this is concious or unconcious racism. It’s possible that the game’s story may contain an actively ANTI-racist message.Or it’s possible the hero just escapes into the jungle and spends most of his time fighting zombified lions and gorillas.Wait till it comes out before complaining…

And who says there are no good minority characters in games?
I don’t feel as if this is any sort of concious attempt at racism, that being said undercurrents of racism can be found anywhere if you relaly look hard enough (this example just seems more obvious)
Now i kinda want a WWZ game!!
