Marvel has released some teaser images from an upcoming X-Force relaunch, and while anything to do with X-Force should usually be greeted with a yawn, this actually looks interesting:

First, the team: Wolverine, X-23, Warpath and Wolfsbane (?). Not a bad mix, and a refreshingly smaller roster than the usual team book. Second, the costumes: Finally, it looks like Marvel may have nailed the type of suit Wolverine should be in. The black and grey look really brings together the movies and the Morrison era with traditional superhero attire. Nice. Third: Clayton Crain’s art. Holy Moses!
Look for X-Force to launch after the recently announced “X-Men Disassembled” arc.

Yawn.
You’re on crack. The art is servicable, but the costumes and team concept are like a Greatest Hits of the early 90s. I suppose it may rise above all that to be a decent title, but from the preview images, I’m sure not seeing it.
haha, touche
it should be CLAWFORCE!!!
Or X-CLAW!!
Or how about Wolverine and the Wolverinites?
That would sell comics baby!!
haha…Claw-Force, I like it. As long as it’s not a continuation of sorts of Jeph Loeb’s dreadful Wolverine arc (which basically says all mutants with claws came from a different evolution strand than the rest of us…ugh), I think a black-ops X-team could be pretty fun.
I may be on crack, but that has nothing to do with it. It looks cool I tell you! Cool!
P.S. I don’t really think the costumes are early 90s at all. If so, there would be shoulder pads, pouches and guns all over the place.
I liked X-Force better when it was called “Underworld.”
Lord, another X-book. Steve’s right it is a return to ‘92. Also, didn’t DC just do this same Black Ops/Black Suits thing with the JLA with Justice League Elite? And I liked X-Force better when it was called “X-Statix”.
But after all that being said, I have to admit that I’m somewhat curious with about the book. After his tremendous work on the Ghost Rider mini, I’d take a chance with Clayton Crain.
Where the heck is cable :S

In his own new ongoing. This X-Force has really nothing to do with the old one.
