V For Vendetta Velvety Smooth Hair

I just got this from Rob – it seems that VO5 are promoting their new line of psuedo salon style wares with an icon that looks somewhat familiar…

VO5 V for Vendetta

If they start dressing their models in Guy Fawkes masks, we’ll know something’s really up.

    It’s a copyrighted Image, after all…
There is NO way they could use it without permission (i.e. LOTS OF MONEY!)
    I think I’m going off for a bit of a cry…
I’m hoping Alan let them use it to get back at DC, but i doubt it…

No, it’s an upturned anarchist symbol…
As far as I know it’s only ever been associated wit V…

It looks more like they ripped it off from “V” the TV mini-series with Marc Singer.

Good point, but V the tv series was a few years after V for Vendetta’s origins in Warrior Magazine and the ‘V’ logo doesn’t have a ring around it in the tv series…
