Breakfast In Shanghai - The California

I saw this in the BreadTalk over at the mall last night and immediately knew I needed to have a raisin and cake taco for breakfast today. The “shell” of the taco, aka: The California, is just a pancake folded in half, filled with raisins and a cream that tastes as if it’s about 90% pure butter. Sounds a little offputting, possibly even gross, but damn is this thing tasty. It gets a little messy and overpoweringly buttery towards the end, but it was totally worth the fractional arterial hardening I just submitted myself to.
