If you’re looking for something to do in the Los Angeles area next Wednesday. BOOM! Studios is throwing a Christmas party at Meltdown Comics. Instead of trying to lure comic book fans to the store with promises of signings and celebrity appearances, they’re simply offering free beer. Probably not the worst marketing plan in the world, to be honest!

This past year at SDCC, BOOM! was proud to be the only publisher that had a totally open party. Celebrating our two year anniversary, it was at this party where BOOM! fans and BOOM! pros got to meet and mingle. No private, invite only, guest list, high-falutin’ party for us! This is BOOM! Studios.

Sadly, we were not able to offer free beer.

We correct this oversight with our BOOM! Holiday Party this next Wednesday! So please get the word out….(and if you are in the area and can come, please do!!)
