According to this link Andrew sent me a few minutes ago, 2007’s physical album sales saw a 9.5% decrease over 2006 figures, while online sales increased by 45%.
Steve: People want digital files.

Steve: I love demonstrably false statements like this.
The recording industry has experienced declines in CD album sales for years, in part because of the rise of online file-sharing, but also because consumers have spent more of their leisure dollars on other entertainment, like DVDs and video games.
Steve: Bullshit! CD sales were constantly increasing when music sharing was at it’s highest, you hack writer!
Andrew: that does seem extraordinarily lazy, doesn’t it?

I wrote the guy a note with some reference showing how aweful his writing was. I demanded a retraction. I’d advise u do the same.
