Here it is folks, your first glimpse at the new Wolverine and the X-Men cartoon in motion. Seems like it’s heavily influenced by the movies, with a healthy dose of Astonishing (in the costumes, at least) thrown in for good measure. Still, I can’t really say I totally understand the premise of the ‘toon after seeing this, except that the X-Men have disbanded, Wolvie is trying to get them back together, and some shady folks are after said ‘Ol Canucklehead. But I do like the look of the show, more than most Marvel toons of late. Anyways, what say you?

Somehow, I don’t think that Dave Grohl knows that the Foo Fighters’ tunes are being used to hype this cartoon. Not that it’s a bad match but it’ll be too expensive to use.

Weird, no? Maybe that’s why the video was taken down. (Though it has resurfaced here: http://www.movieweb.com/tv/news/77/26277.php)
