I had this pointed out to me last night - it seems that comic book scanners are using the various torrent networks as a way to pay their tribute to Steve Gerber. I suppose it makes sense, since the natural inclination among fans is to talk about their favorite creators once they’ve passed away, share stories, reminisce over favorite issues, etc. This is pretty much a logical net step and, no matter what the companies say about it, is unlikely to stop happening.
