My love of the God of War series is well documented, and I’ve been at a crossroads with the eminent release of God of War: Chains of Olympus for PSP. See, I’m not so big on portable gaming (I think I play my Nintendo DS about 1 out of every 345,672 days), so I’ve never felt the need to buy a PSP. But now, with the seemingly terrific (according to most reviews) Chains of Olympus upon us, I’ve been thinking about taking the plunge. And of course, Sony has announced a new PSP/Chains of Olympus bundle, releasing in June for $199, that I will, in all likelihood, buy on Day 1.

First, the PSP: a limited edition, colored “deep red” with Sir Kratos’s mug on the back, which looks awesome.

Plus, the bundle comes with a copy of Chains of Olympus, a copy of the movie Superbad on the I-thought-it-was-dead UMD movie format, and a voucher for a free download of Syphon Filter: Combat Ops.

Do you hear me, Zeus?! I will finally have my revenge! And I will watch the zany antics of McLovin in between my revenge-getting!!
