Get A Superhero In Your Easter Basket

These superheroes encased in clear eggs are simultaneously weirder yet easier to accept than the stuffed Darth Vader w/jelly beans I posted last week. Captain America in particular makes an odd sort of sense, what with Steve Rogers “dying” and rising from the dead at a later date, much like a patriotic Jesus. When I was a kid, I’d have been ecstatic to wake up easter morning and get one of these suckers to smuggle to church in my pocket.

Target has these guys in Christmas Ornaments last year. The boy has already put in a request for the Spider-Man one.

I can’t believe that Hasbro so blatantly ripped off this line from a design company in Asia:

I don’t think that they’re the same animal. While the designs may look similar, the one you linked to are designed for collectors while the Hasbro line is definitely more geared towards kids and actually have some very minor points of articulation. I know tons about the latter since I “help” pick them up at least once a day with my four year old.
