“Watchmen” Movie Costumes Revealed!

Zach Snyder’s finally let leak some photos of characters from his upcoming “Watchmen” flick, and while they seem to be depicting different shots from what we previously reported on, the Ozymandis and the modern Silk Spectre certainly seem to match up well with our source’s descriptions.

More pics after the jump.

They look really good, but I think maybe the Nite Owl costume looks TOO good, unless that’s supposed to be the younger Nite Owl. There’s not much of a paunch there or anything; on the other hand, there’s also not much of the classic V-shaped torso, either, so that’s good, at least.

The Comedian looks awesome. BCOJ nailed it about Nite Owl, though.

They look…..OK. Hard to say until they’re moving, but some seem to be a little borderline Shumachery. Nite Owl’s cowl is kind of weird, but only in comparison to the original. I’m guessing alla these shots are from pre-retirement. Ozy looks oddest, probably because he doesn’t have the tiara on his head…

They are OK, except Nite Owl, who in my opinion looks horrible. I would of prefered a more traditional costume. Same with Ozy, there it looks pretty weak, but i think thats just because of a over usage of photoshop. Traditional wouldv’e been better, costumes exactly like in the comic, like 300. Remember it is set in the 80’s, the costumes look very modern.

He does actually have a tiara; well, sort of. It’s a stylized laurel leaf design instead. Take a look at his temples. Honestly, I think it looks better.

This is going to be near impossible to pull off, but I’m still curious to see what kind of attempt they make.

I’m cool with all of them. Except Ozy. It kinda kills the point of the character.

I’m curious to know how they’re going to deal with the issue of Doctor Manhattan walking around buck naked. I’m guessing they won’t be showing his blue balls (sorry, couldn’t resist).
Other than that, GREAT job on the Comedian. And, if you look closely at Nite Owl, you can see what looks like a slight spare tire. The straight-on view and the costume color help to hide it though. Can’t wait for this flick!

Ozymandias kind of looks like Brann Dailor, the drummer from Mastodon.
Rorschach and the Comedian look goddamn spot-on PERFECT.
And Silk Spectre just looks smokin hot.
