McDonald’s Iced Coffee - Well, At Least It’s Not Instant…

The one nice thing I can say about McDonald’s new iced coffee is that it’s at least brewed from genuine coffee and not some Folger’s freeze dried crapola. I know this not by seeing the poor McDrones actually brew the two cups I’ve had, but by the grounds that have populated the bottoms of both cups. For a buck eightynine, I don’t expect much, at least not while I live in the currently Dunkin’-free state of California, but I would expect to have no gritty leftovers in my mouth.
Another quick tip - if you don’t like your coffee super sweet, order it with half-sugar. Of course, you’d better like it super weak in that case since Mickey D’s doesn’t seem to brew the stuff at double strength in order to compensate for the fact that they’re pouring it over ice, ie: frozen water…

Please note: I use the term “McDrones” with much love as I was one myself for over 3 years, pushing McMuffins on many a hazy, hungover Snday morning in order to afford textbooks and booze.

There are no Dunkin’ Donuts in CA? Crazy! Still, maybe BK has better coffee?
