Iron Man Touching Down Early

Apparently Paramount realizes that they’ve got a potential phenomenon on their hand and have decided that maybe letting a few theaters across the country a day early isn’t rally a bad idea. No idea how to find ahead of time if your local cinema will be playing the Avenger’s flick, but if they are it’ll be at 8 PM on May 1. Oddly enough, this is still a day later than international fans have to wait, since “Iron Man” opens overseas on April 30.
So, any predictions for the opening weekend, here? Record setting? Epic Fail?

90-110 million opening weekend, with better than average staying power.

I can totally see this happening. Shoot, even if the movie turns out to be a turd (which I doubt), the opening weekend should be pretty phenomenal.
