An anonymous donor has given the original interior artwork from the 46-year-old Amazing Fantasy #15 — for youse neophytes that would be the first appearance of Spider-Man — to the Library of Congress.
Theoretically, I think this means anyone can go look at the birth of Stan Lee and Steve Ditko’s masterpiece of a character if you’re willing to put up with some serious bureaucracy. But I’m going to guess that the Library of Congress will display it for the public at some point, anyway.

Wow – that’s great to hear! I wonder who’s had it all these years? Be great to find out who the donor was. I figure Steve Geppi. I would guess it’s probably not off to say you could fetch 200K for the Spider-Man pages and he’s the only guy I can think of that would need that big a tax write-off! Nevertheless, well done.
I’m just glad you dirty Canadians didn’t get it!
U-S-A! U-S-A!
That was uncalled for man. Without a Canadian kid moving to Cleveland, there’s no Superman. And hence, no superheroes. Be thankful! LMAO.
