Will there ever be another wrestling feud as epic as Rock VS Austin? I still watch the stuff, but it really doesn’t have the same appeal as it did 5-10 years ago. Some of that’s definitely down to the writing just not being all that inspired, but the key ingredient missing is the fact that there simply aren’t any truly bigger than life personalities on the level of The Rock or Stone Cold. Thank god for old video tapes!

Whatever Wrestlemania I went to (can’t recall the # - was 2001 or 2002) — Hogan vs. Rock was the most insane thing I’ve ever seen live. I’ve been to great rock concerts, important sporting events…but the SkyDome was nuts for that. Half the crowd chanting “Rocky! Rocky!” and the other half chanting “Hogan! Hogan!”. I honestly can’t remember any of the other matches that one was so crowd intense. And amazingly enough, I quit watching wrestling pretty much right after that…LOL.

While most of it is the writing, it’s also partly that the WWE no longer has performers of the caliber of Austin, the Rock and Angle.

Normally, I hate Limp Bisquick, but it works for this promo.
