“Annihilation Conquest” Collection Question

So, I’m putting together my monthly comic book order, and I’m reading item descriptions in order to make sure I’m ordering collections of the proper stuff. I get to the description for the “Annihilation Conquest” Vol. 2 hardcover and I notice something odd.
Collects Annihilation: Conquest - Wraith #1-4, Nova #4-7. and Annihilation: Conquest #1-6
According to the description on Amazon, this book only collects “Nova” 4-7. I don’t remember reading 1-3, so I do a quick double check of Vol. 1, and sure enough - there’s no Nova in it. I search for the Nova TPB to see if 1-3 are just filler or what, and here’s the description:
Exploding from the pages of Annihilation, Nova rockets into his own ongoing series! In the wake of the chaotic Annihilation Wave, a desperate galaxy cries out for law and order. In the past, an army of peacekeeping Centurions delivered stability. But the Nova Corps are dead and gone - now there is only Richard Rider, the man called Nova. But can a lone human police an entire universe? He has near limitless power - now he must do all he can to bring punishment to the wicked, help to the oppressed and justice for all! Strap in as the acclaimed writing team of Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning (Annihilation: Nova), superstar Sean Chen (Sensational Spider-Man) and cover artist Adi Granov (Iron Man) slam your mind into hyperdrive! Collects Nova #1-7.
Sure looks like it’s all important to the story. Hell, the entire trade’s wrapped under a cover with “Annihilation” in the title! Did anyone out there read it? Am I going to be missing any vital information Marvel’s dumping in order to conserve space? I’ve been getting the Annihilation hardcovers from the beginning because I like having the story presented in a minimum amount of separate books and in the proper order, but this is leaving knd of a bad taste in my mouth…

The first three books of the current Nova series establish the tone for the solo series, and take place between Annihilation and Annihilation: Conquest. There was a prior Nova limited series which was part of the ongoing Annihilation storyline in 2006, and that series’ success helped bring about the ongoing Nova comic.
The first three issues of Nova are not included because they involve him returning to earth briefly, and are somewhat attached to The Initiative storyline. Iron Man makes an appearance, they discuss Civil War politics, etc. The next three, included in the A:C collection, directly involve the Phalanx and are part of the overall conquest storyline.
Nova is loaded with quality, entertaining superhero comicbookery month in and month out. It’s one of Marvel’s best titles, frankly.

I’ve read the current nova except i think the latest ish. It rocks! Haven’t read annihilation conquest yet. Need to catch up. but from what I heard, the stories mingle with each other but not exactly. I think richard ryder is kinda doing his own thing, but in the end it connects. Thats probably why there was confusion in collecting these. You shouldn’t pass up on any of nova.

Can’t say I like either of these answers, nor can I say I’m surprised. Guess I have 4 options - stick with just Annihilation hardcovers, buy the Nova TPB in addition to the $40 hardcover, buy the back issues despite all my inclinations the last 2-3 years to move towards trades only or download the first 3 issues illegally.
And people wonder why BitTorrent is so popular…

Watch Ebay for cheap copies of Nova 1-3. There are bargains to be found if you are patient.
