It looks like Barnes and Noble is taking advantage of the recent decision by Amazon to start charging NY residents sales tax on their orders by playing up the New York City resident’s tendencies to have anything and everything possible delivered by bike. Free same day delivery is a pretty potent deal, and one that’s likely to seriously put a chink in the Amazon armor, even if it’s only on Manhattan Island for now.
