I’m seriously starting to believe that papercraft action figures are the wave of the future as far as internet marketing goes. Until now, only fan sites have provided folks with templates for people to populate their cubicles with, but 4Kids has launched a section of their site with kid-friendly paper figure projects. So far, they have all the Turtles, Splinter, Sonic, Knuckles, a dinosaur and some characters I don’t recognize.

The only question I have at this point is how long it’ll be until Hasbro, Marvel or some other web-savvy pop-culture company starts to exploit their own massive library of characters in a similar fashion.
