It seems that the Watchmen trailer that debuted last weekend is making news outside of Hollywood - apparently, on the strength of the trailer alone, sales of the consistently solid selling graphic novel have pretty much exploded. The easiest place to see this evidenced, as Andrew pointed out to me, is by taking a quick look at Amazon’s Top Sellers list. At 1:47 PM Pacific, this is what it looked like:

At the same time of the day, it’s sitting at #5 on the Barnes and Noble website. It’ll be reeeeal interesting to see if the obvious interest transfers from book sales to movie goers in a few months.
