Punisher Shoots Everyone in the Face

Ok I stole that from Slashfilm but its true - dont watch it if you dont like people getting shot in the face.
But they report that director Lexi Alexander was at San Diego, but Aint it Cool says she wasn’t. Yes, I know - a woman directed this??? I’d like to meet her, if she pulls this off, she’s beyond bad-ass.
But Whatever - anyone getting involved in a Punisher movie for the 3rd time has to know its a waste of money and will only appeal to the lowest common denominator - like me! 50 headshots in a 1:51 trailer…sounds like if you want carnage with your metal this is the movie to beat. Max Payne has alot to prove and a bodycount to beat if he wants any street cred.
The thing is, I already saw the perfect Punisher movie, but it starred Denzel Washington, and was called Man on Fire.

I know that seemed weird in the Tom Jane movie but that was in the comic written by Preacher-creator Garth Ennis - that is one time where a comic book idea using just regular people worked better on paper than on the screen.
I loved Frank Castle as a kid, but now he seems kind of superfluous…if Marvel wants a violent R-rated movie character why not use Deadpool or Cable even that Terror Inc. guy, more interesting back-stories but less heavy metal music friendly.

The perfect Punisher movie should be about 15 minutes of plot with 75 minutes of sheer violence and brutality.
